John Keim’s second day story on Robert Griffin III is very solid. I like the way he leads the story with a play that could have very easily went wrong for Griffin III. He writes about the former Heisman winners’ mindset as he let the ball go and knew it wasn’t going to be a good throw. Keim then points out that RGIII caught a break that he did so many times last year. That really set the tone of the story about how RGIII is back to his own form of last season. The quotes that Keim collected from Griffin III’s teammates really exemplify the reliance and confidence that they have in him when playing well, especially the quote from tight end Logan Paulsen. Keim ends the story with a kicker saying that postseason play is almost gone for the Redskins, but if RGIII continues to play well it’s still in their sights.
