NFL – AFC Advances

Chargers vs. Eagles

Derek Togerson of spends the majority of his game preview dissecting the Eagles’ performance from the week before. He includes quotes from the head coach that give insight into how high he expects his team to perform versus how the players on the team actually felt towards their performance. I really enjoyed this aspect because it showed the different mindsets of the team despite everyone having the same goal. He ends the article with what the Chargers must do to win the game which gives the viewer some things to pay attention to while watching the game.

Broncos vs. Giants’s Michael Eisen begins his preview with a very brief recap of Denver’s last game before focusing on Peyton Manning and how he was the key to their victory. He then talks about how Giants defensive coordinator Perry Fewell knows firsthand what he and the Giants are going up against because he faced Manning and the Colts three years ago in just his second game as defensive coordinator. This gives interesting context heading into the game that a general fan watching the game probably wouldn’t have known.

About Miss__Melanie

Ever since I was in 6th grade I've aspired to become a sports journalist. I'm currently in college studying Journalism with an emphasis in Magazines. I love personal interest stories. I have a passion for finding out interesting things about entertainers/athletes and things that make them tick and sharing those interesting stories about them to the world. I root for athletes & stories more than teams. I also love music and feel that it complements my life. I create soundtracks for different times of my life and I highly respect artists and their creative processes. Interviews are my passion and I look to conduct several of them over the course of my life. My dream job is to be a publicist for athletes and entertainers because I love and respect them so much that I want everyone else to see them and love them the same way that I do.
