Second Day stories- NFC

The link above is to a “second-day” beat on the Falcons-Titans pre-season game and what it means for Atlanta.  The beat is written by Pat Yasinskas, who covers the NFC South for ESPN.com.  I like how he advances the game from the final score to how it makes the Atlanta Falcons, “a Super Bowl contender,” look like a harmless bunch.  He points out the fact that practice will be tough for Falcon players this work, and I have to say, he is right.

My next second-day beat gives a look at how the San Francisco 49ers felt after their pre-season beat down of the Minnesota Vikings.  The beat, written by 49ers Gab, gives the reader something they may otherwise not have known- that the rookies have been impressive thus far for San Francisco.  I appreciate the concentration to detail that the beat gives towards the 49ers pre-season.
