Second-Day Stories for AFC Beat

In this second-day story from ESPN’s AFC East Blog, Rich Cimini shares ten takeaways from the Jets’ win over the Giants. The big story behind this game was the unfortunate decision to put Mark Sanchez in the game and the injury that resulted. I like how this second-day story gives the reader a look beyond that headline and more into what else happened during that game.

Moreover, Yahoo’s Shutdown Corner hones in on the Mark Sanchez situation with their second-day story. I know sometimes I wonder if I’m the only person thinking a certain way about things that happen during a game. This post by Frank Schwab gives insight into what a lot of people were thinking, including Rex Ryan apparently. He puts that decision by coach Ryan into context and explains what it could possibly mean for the Jets heading into the season.

About Miss__Melanie

Ever since I was in 6th grade I've aspired to become a sports journalist. I'm currently in college studying Journalism with an emphasis in Magazines. I love personal interest stories. I have a passion for finding out interesting things about entertainers/athletes and things that make them tick and sharing those interesting stories about them to the world. I root for athletes & stories more than teams. I also love music and feel that it complements my life. I create soundtracks for different times of my life and I highly respect artists and their creative processes. Interviews are my passion and I look to conduct several of them over the course of my life. My dream job is to be a publicist for athletes and entertainers because I love and respect them so much that I want everyone else to see them and love them the same way that I do.
