ESPNDallas.com blogger, Todd Archer, originally posted a story about how Cowboy’s punter Chris Jones was the first player to ever hit the center-hung scoreboard on Aug. 24. For his second day angle, Archer opted to talk to Jones to see if hitting the scoreboard would have any change in his punting mentality. I like how Archer was able to get ideas from Jones, coach Jason Garret and owner Jerry Jones.
The Bleacher Report’s NFC West Lead Writer, Tyson Langland, did a simple second day angle story about the implications in the Jon Baldwin and A.J. Jenkins trade. Langland went through and explained what Baldwin will bring to the 49ers and allowed the reader to see how the trade will effect San Francisco’s depth chart. He was very thorough in his analyzation.
