Wheels of Life

This article means a lot to me personally.  Having a sister with down syndrome who competes in the Special Olympics, I understand how people with disabilities have certain limits when it comes to athletics and exercise.  I think Gary Smith does a great job of grabbing the reader’s emotions while showcasing a father and son pushing it to the limit, and far past.

I first heard about this man and his son during this summer’s ESPYS, and I was so touched by their story. Even reading about it got me emotional. Such a great story and a great article.
